Our Team

Dr. Jim Jury is a board certified optometrist with over 30 years of practice experience in all aspects of optometry ranging from specialty contact lenses to ocular disease including glaucoma and macular degeneration. Dr. Jury established his optometric practice in 1988 and now has offices in Derby and Wichita, Kansas.

Dr. Jury has welcomed the opportunity to add new optical technology which has changed dramatically over the course of the past 30 years. These technological advances result in earlier detection of eye diseases and conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Advances have also provided a means of greater accuracy with contact lens fitting and glasses prescriptions.

Dr. Jury is originally from Sublette, Kansas, and received his bachelor’s degree from Baker University. He received his doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Following an externship at Fort Riley, he immediately went into private practice.

Dr. Lauren Tatlock is a board certified optometrist providing eye care to the Derby and Wichita KS communities. She is dedicated to providing patients personalized eye care including comprehensive eye exams, ocular surface disease diagnosis and management, contact lenses, and glasses prescriptions. 

Dr. Tatlock is well-versed in the technological advances in the field of optometry, which allow for earlier detection of ocular disease. She uses state-of-the-art equipment in our Derby and Wichita offices to detect and monitor glaucoma, macular generation, cataracts and other eye conditions. This equipment also provides greater accuracy in glasses and contact lens prescriptions.

Dr. Tatlock is originally from Liberal, Kansas, and received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. She received her doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Following externships in Fort Worth, TX and Albuquerque, NM, she went directly into private practice.
